My friend and I, play guitar hero a lot and have been waiting for the 2nd one to come out. Fun game, great songs.

The way its setup is your given a guitar with diffrent color buttons and you must hit them in order they are on the screen aswell as flipping a piece that acts as the guitar string... Its a lot of fun.

Guitar Hero 2 looks like it will be around 60-70 like the first i believe could be less like 55 which i also saw it pre released for. It comes out november 7th.

It's really fun. My brother got #1, and he likes it too. I'm not 100% about the price, but I'm thinking $89.00? A little more would be reasonable, as it comes with a guitar to play the game with. Not a real guitar, but I think the simulation is similar. Great gift Idea! Although guitar hero 1 has more songs geared towards the parents who will inevitably be overhearing them at a high volume!

it's pretty good. It's nothing like the real thing, but still incredibly fun (It's essentially DDR for guitar's)

The price is 59.99 USD. If you buy any other version, you don't get the guitar controller, which defeats the main purpose of buying the game. (it's like playing a dancing game with a handheld controller)

ok, guitar hero is a great game, i personally enjoyed many drunken nights playing with my friends, and as far as your 13 year old getting it, i think its a great idea bc it builds hand eye coordination, and it could possibly lead to them becoming interested in guitar which is also a great thing, bc it gets them more involved with more people, the more people you know the broader the spectrum is for your level of comfort, and as far as stage performance, that will be great for getting rid of those public speaking jitters, so by buying this game you could influence the entire life of your child, and even help them get good grade in public speaking classes in college, of course that is a long shot, but it will still help with hand eye coordination, and you almost have to stand up to play it anyways, so its better than just sitting in front of the tv vegging out...

My friends play it and it's all they talk about now (We're 14). It's sorta like American Idol, only you use guitars and play songs like "Iron Man" and such. Sounds good, and it's been given great reviews.
