Of course. The tooth fairy always took my tooth and left a quarter underneath my pillow.

Always. (Nice quote from Peter Pan, by the way)

Faeries and magic and quidnuncs and all sorts of mystical things that most people don't believe in, like the individual personalities of trees...

Plus I do it all while being completely sane and sober. They make life more pleasant and keep you from becoming a "grown up." Why stick to the mundane when you can believe in the fantastic!?!

I believe - just like I believe in Santa Claus and his elves, because they make my 6 year old and my 3 year old go to bed with a smile on their faces and sweet dreams all night long.

And because many years ago, they also got me into a lifelong habbit of reading rather than watching TV and let my imagination grow in leaps and bounds (courtesy Enid Blyton's collection)
