You need to get in contact with other zoologists and ask questions on how they got to where they are, the only key is to find information from people who know the information.

Not all colleges have all the majors in the world. You need to contact the colleges to check if they have the major that you want. You can do this by calling, emailing or going there. Also, I suggest you look at the website of the colleges that you are interested in. Usually, they will have a website which has A LOT of info, such as tuition fees, admission reqs, majors that they offer, etc. Last, you should go to the colleges you are interested in and attend a tour there. They usually have tours every week/month in colleges.

I was thinking about majoring in zoology when I started my college search. Not all institutions offer this major. I would pick some colleges you're interested in and check their Web sites for lists of majors. Often, you can check out the courses colleges offer online, or request a book listing them. Don't rule out other majors that might offer something similar that interests you, such as animal behavioral science.
