You can love many people...your mother, your father, your friends but you can't be "in love" with all of these people. Being in love is a much stronger connection. At least that is my definition...I have loved my former boyfriends but I am in love with my husband.

She cares for you very much but she just doesn't feel that connection to make her feel wonderful. The wonderful feeling of wanting to be with you forever and is like a soulmate and knows you very well. Being in love is the best feeling in the world. Loving someone is just the words with not much feeling.

in love means you still love and want to be with the guy or girl. Still loving could mean you guys broke up and have not yet gotten over him.
