Sounds like I don't have a life, lol, but it makes my day to come on here and see questions and answers posted by a certain few people who are thought-provoking, funny, entertaining, and thoughtful.
It really makes my day when I don't get spam (or fewer than 10 pieces of it) in my Inbox when I check my e-mail.
It makes my day when the sun is shining.
It makes my day to wake up each morning. Each day is a new start, a clean slate, waiting to be enjoyed (at least to some extent).
It makes my day when the tradesmen doing rennovations stop hammering and swearing and go home at the end of the day and my Tylenols start kicking in.
It makes my day when someone I like or love phones me.
It makes my day when someone likes a piece of work I've done and takes time to tell me so.

Yeah a compliment is nice, but what really makes my day is if I know I have something fun to do after work and a good dinner besides.

When someone acts kindly or generously towards me and when I can do the same or even just make someone laugh or smile.
Ah jeez after reading some of the other answers, and of course #1 my precious daughter and everything about her, but I have her wonderfulness everyday, so I was talking about things that don't happen everyday

What makes my day is realizing God loves me and is there to help me. No matter what the trouble I can pray and trust in him to make things better.
It also makes my day to have a really good and productive therapy session.
