Since 1966, most of the United States has observed Daylight Saving Time from at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of April to 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of October.

Beginning in 2007, most of the U.S. will begin Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and revert to standard time on the first Sunday in November.

Personally, I think the whole thing is a crock.

We are currently on Daylight Savings Time, which ends Saturday night and Standard Time begins. You set your clock back an hour to make up for the hour you set them forward in the spring to start Daylight Savings Time.

Edit: Daylight Savings Time always ends the last Saturday night before Halloween. This is so that midnight on Halloween is true midnight.

It will be Sunday, actually, until 2 a.m. The day remains Sunday, but you will turn your clock back, one hour, to 1 a.m.
Enjoy the extra hour sleep. Hopefully you do not work night shift. At my workplace the night shift personnel work one extra hour, but do not get paid for overtime. They will simply get paid for one extra hour.
