You're using too much hon. Everyone does at first. Did you get the video-or have you watched the infomercial? My first suggestion is get some good quality brushes. I use a kabuki for my foundation--use a little and buff a little longer. To cover blemishes use a takklon concealer brush. (You use the same foundation color as I do--so if you don't have summer bisque, get some. In fact, I use summer bisque as a foundation after I break out.) Also, you might get some flocked sponges at walgreens and 'go over' your face with it if you still look chalky. It does take some time (a week or so) of practicing using little amounts. And "layering" if you need more coverage. One other suggestion-make sure you exfoliate well before applying and use a good moisturizer and primer if you like. Keep playing--you will get the hang of it!

Use the brush in an upward circular motion with the powder on it. It will not look caked on and cover blemishes. You can use an additional concealer before however for more coverage.

when you take a skin toner thats like one shade darker then your skin color and rub small amounts into your face, it covers your blemishes.
