If you want a background you can google myspace backgrouns and they will give you pics to choose from and you take the HTML code and paste it in the edit profile area. Also there should be another link saying post blog and you post a blod there.

and for the blogs its like close to ur display pic or its to the views on ur profile lol

blogs are already built into it. you go into your home area to add one. you add a background by finding one (try mynicespace.com) and then copy and paste the code into the about me area of your profile.
