Yes, it doesn't matter what state you live in. The Child Support enforcement and jurisdiction laws are pretty standard. The State of California actually has more specifics added that are in the interest of the person raising the children.

As a rule of thumb, it is in the best interest of the children to pay support owed voluntarily, rather than rally two separate states to exhaust their financial resources to track down parents, prove paternity, and order them to pay. It is not the American tax payers fault that these children were born. It is not the children's fault that they were conceived.

Yes, dirtbag. It's called reciprocity. California will force you to pay up because Texas will force some other dirtbag to pay for kids in California.

If you were a real parent, you wouldn't need to be forced to pay child support.

Yes! It's called Child Support. If you made 'em, you have to pay for 'em. They're not my kids... I didn't screw up and not wear a "rain coat".
Here's your sign.

Why wouldn't you pay for your children? You had a choice when you got their mother pregnant...you could have prevented it and chose not to...you play you pay.

If your kids are not in your custody, and someone else is taking care of them, then yes. Doesn't matter where you live.
