Politics can be about survival. It is all about who gets what when where and why.

Yes survival is a political game. Politicians make life or death decisions, look at the 600,000 that have died in Iraq. Great political decision that was.

It would be nice if we could ignore it, but when their decisions affect the way we live it is very difficult.

when we talk about politics, we need to ask our selves what it is? because in my own view politic is a believe, by which a certain group of individuals believe in, it can be education, culture, value, or religion. now what make a society is politic for there fore without politic there is no society.other wise how are we going to pass on the history of a culture, the values and norms of a society, the likes and dislikes (or let me say pros and cons) of any surounding society without the existance of politics. people only tends to believe that politic is only about the parliaments, the fighting for power to rule the nations or society, but what is behind that back ground? for a person to fight for power wether in parliament or be it a councillor, he or she always tends to know the weak points of the other party, the weak points tends to run because of poor education, poor cultural back ground or poor believes, which make up the personality of a human being. politic is some how a survival game, other wise if we remove it, there will be no courts, there will be no parliaments and no one owns the country and gives it the rules of survival. ow can we move on without politic if we all needs rights and laws, we need to believe in something to move on.

survival is not the only political game in town.
In British politics , there is a old say " when there is a death there is a hope "
it means potential candidates can be selected/elected to replace the deceased MP.

You have a stake in your country and so you should vote, lobby, use you MP, use you MEP if you have one and be aware of what is happening. We should also help those idiots in their ivory towers know what it's like out here in the real world. We get the politicians we deserve on the whole.
