US House: Benedict (D) v. Wamp (R)
Governor: Bredesen (D)(Inc) v. Bryson (R) Independents (6--Banks, Gatchell, Leinoff, Smith, Switzer, Whitaker)

Both parties but the Republicans do it much more often and without remorse. It's as if they really believe what they know is untrue.
