Why does the battery power not last very long? After i take it off it's charger it last like 30 minutes, can someone help what's happening?

hmm. they had a error on the battery. still under warranty? then give it to then for a change

I have a Toshiba laptop myself. I agree with the other answerers that there might be a battery problem.
For now though, you should double click the Toshiba battery icon in the System Tray (bottom-right corner) and set the power settings lower for the display and other components. Make sure you select the power options for when the laptop is only working on the battery. For the AC cord settings, you can jack up everything to full power.
