I am thinking my best option will be to wait two weeks since the date we had sex. My cycles are all messed up from the pills i started.

I started birthcontrol 3 days before we had sex, we used back up for that very reason, and the condom fell off, neither of us are sure if anything came close or in me.
I've been really tired, and had a weird metal taste to my mouth, and right now, I am having tiny cramps. But it's only been 4 days since we had sex
Hmm....

i've read that the main symptoms other than a missed period are

~sore or tender breasts
~extreme tiredness or fatigue
~different kind of discharge
~dizzyness
~headaches
~a metal taste (that's a weird one but i DID read it!!)
~odd cravings (this could be an old wives tale...)
~frequent urination (even if it ends up you really didn't have to pee that bad)
~back aches
~constipation

but remember that almost all of these symptoms can also be caused by pms!

hope i helped.
good luck

Yeah. That is a good time to test unless you had a period the week before. The pill is not 100% at best it may be 92% maybe less effective and it takes a few months to get into our systems to prevent pregnancy. In the meantime we're supposed to use another kind of birth control. But, since they aren't 100% I'd use 2 types any how, if I wanted to be sure, or more sure. I got pregnant on the pill. so have most my friends. So, the girls I hear at 14 using the pill or a condom feeling very safe but then very upset, it's a shame that they aren't more educated about the real facts about birth control. Sorry. I got a little excited. Good luck to you however you want it to go.
I was tired all the time, my boobs got tender and bigger, my mom told me I was pregnant before I told her. I actually lost weight. I wanted to sleep. I was moody. That's about it for the first two months, I think.

Every pregnancy I have ever experienced is different, both of which I missed my period. In your case, this is not an effective indicator. During my first pregnancy, I had no symptoms. During my second pregnancy, I had nausea and tenderness of the breast (which can also be the onset of the menstral cycle). Normally, my breast do not get tender with my period; knowing this, I knew I was pregnant. I suppose you have to know what is your normal bodily function in order to assess what is out of the ordinary for you.

Since you are taking pills, I assume this would not be an intended pregnancy. Did you take the pills for at least a month before having sex? Birth control pills take time for it to regulate bodily hormone in order for it to be effective against pregnancy. Whatever the case may be, I certainly do hope that things will turn out for the best for you.

Try testing now and see what you get. If it's negative, test in two weeks and see again. If you come up with a missing period and a negative test, might wanna talk to your doctor to figure out why your period is hiding on you.

Cycles do get messed up from time to time when you start the pill and what not. heh

the best way to know is missing a period - there are signz and symptoms of pregnancy such as metallic taste in mouth, bloating, discharge, nausea... etc
but not everyone one gets these symptoms...

My advice wait the 2 1/2 weeks and if no period. take a test. :) good luck
