my daughter had a friend like this and she finally started standing up too her when she was ordered around. and they are still friends. no one deserves too be bossed around by a friend. you dont have to show her who is boss but, you dont have to listen to her you just need to let them know where you stand on this matter and let what happens happen.

If you do not want direct confrontation, do it gradually.

If she boss you 10 times, you start to refuse 2 times, Then gradually increase the number of no's.

Also, start to speak out and speak your mind. Do it slowly but surely.

Or, you could just quietly do your own thing and avoid being with her. Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me.

If its just little stuff, i would just let it go, thats just the kind of person she is and you can't change that. But if she says something that hurts or bothers you just tell her no and speak your mind.

There is a reason your friend is like this, you need to be honest with her and tell her how this makes you feel, if she doesn't know she can't fix it.
