Okay, So I am trying to find a cute halloween costume that isn't slutty last year I didn't even dress up so this year I'm 15, I have brown hair to my shoulders and eyes. I was thinking maybe a pirate. I have a pirate Bandana with piarte skulls and it looks cute and I was going to wear that in my hair with it part up, and then I was thinking a White Button up shirt and I could roll the sleeves up a little bit with hoop earrings, and then a pair of Black Boots and a demin skirt. But, idk is it cute w/o looking slutty? Also, any suggestions on what I could wear besides a skirt that would go with the costume or any ideas what I could add on or take up I'm open to ideas I'm getting my costume whatever it may be this weekend Help!

Last year I saw on the Martha Stewart show how they made a witches costume from black garbage bags and duct tape.
you need the drawstring bags. one they cut a slit in the area under the drawstrings so it was a bit longer and they cut ,in a zig zag, the bottom part of the bag off, that part is used for another part of the costume.
this one is for the top half of the costume. It is put on like a tube top with the drawstrings as the shoulder straps. pull and tie to fit.
don't worry about the strings coz they get covered later.
then another bag is cut to be the skirt, zig zag like the first and that is tied around the waist. Duct tape as much as needed to keep the top and bottom together.
they also cut a third bag in half to be the sleeves...they used duct tape to hold things in place. Just tape the sleves to the top.
the cut off parts are used to make the cape and they pulled on the zig zag points to stretch them.(also did on skirt)
It was pretty cool and waterproof but you may need scissors to cut the costume off when done.
I hope I explained enough for you to figure out how to do it.
a half dozen bags and tape are cheap especially if you already have them around
where you cut the zig zag depends on your size.
the sleeves bag is cut down the sides so one half the drawstring can be each sleve gather at the neck...
cut and fit the dress to size.
just add a hat and your good to go. Could also be done with white bags.

Black stretch pants with knee high socks, you also need a fake bird to put on your shoulder and a sword. Make a treasure map this will be an icebreaker for any Halloween party you go to. What would be really cool is if you could make it look like you have a gold tooth or a missing tooth. The more you go all out the more fun you will have.

I'm 15 as well, with brown hair past my shoulders.
I'm being a pirate. I bought a male pirate costume because I personally do not prefer the female ones at all.

don't you have cargo pants instead? I think they would match the pirate theme better, if not Its ok, I was going to do the same costume actually, only you should really get a patch for your eye or make one.
I'm going to be a leopard, and I have a purple mask with a black wig, one for each party.
