I can only spend twenty bucks on my costume this year (yeah, it sucks). I think I want to be a witch. I have a really cute purple hat, and a black velvet skirt, but what else can I do that's quick and cheap?

Black lace shirt.....or an old black/dark sweatshirt with holes cut in it ....to look like lace... with a purple shirt of some kind underneath to match the purple hat.

Now use lots of makeup, and paint your fingernails purple or matching color.......and don't forget ...do you have a black other round wastebasket....if not put a black plastic bag over a round thing to be your black caldron/pot....and of course there's a broom, and don't swat those other trick or treaters...unless they're bad.

go to your local goodwill or thrift shop to look for things that will accessorise well with your existing items. I took three teenage girls there for dark fairy costumes and had no problem getting plenty for all of them for not much more than 20 bucks.. hunt through all the clothes not just halloween items.. you could find items that are just the ticket.

Got to a thrift store you can make your own costume and pay less. I mean what's the point of buying an expensive costume if your only going to where it for one year. then you can get it at a thrift store for much less.

Have fun!! Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!BOOOOOOOOOOO:)
