i & he working in the same building but diferent department
we r good friends but why do people aroung us making gossip
saying we are having affairs - which is not true
what should i do with this people

People are jealous of your "platonic" relationship. They do not understand friendship between a man and a woman. Just ignore their stupidity. Once you start saying something, they'll think you are denying it becoause what they assume is true. Just ignore them

Ignore them. Every office has gossips. They are bored with thier life and have to try to make up some stupid stuff to make someone elses life misserable. Once they realize they arent getting anywhere with you two, they will move on to other gossip and start all over again. Be the bigger person and dont let it get to you.

Ignore them. As long as you are friends with someone of the opposite sex at your workplace, there will always be someone who accuses you of having an affair. If this is really bothering you, you can consult with the human resource dept. to see if they can help you to resolve the gossiping.

Ignore it they have no proof and you know what is the truth. It is just work office gossip. They will move on to someone else when your gossip gets old do not worry about it.

sounds like their may be something more between you too, if so it might be wise to be a tad more discreet at the office. if it is only friendship then it might be wise to include some work collegues in your conversations, lunches, social time. stick to your guns and keep your head cool. goodluck

Ignore them or make it clear that you guys aren't a couple or tell your manager bacause thats kind of harrasing.
