Have the engine cooling fan checked, this electric fan should run when you are sitting in traffic, it sounds like it is not working. It could be the fan itself, or the sensor that sends the signal to turn the fan on. The fan should also run any time you have the A/C on, turn on the A/C and listen for the fan running under the hood, if you do not hear it running, there is a problem.

I would like to add that if it is the fan that is not turning on, these particular models were notorious for burning out the fan relays (or module, whichever term you prefer). It's a little part that bolts to the underside of the vehicle at the left front corner, held in by two 8mm screws, with an electrical connector to it. Not that expensive from the Chrysler dealer. Hope this helps.

For starters,
don't assume the grease monkey was thorough.
If it has been a while since you had your radiator flushed, the fluid levels will look good but the car will overheat.
Your problem could be the radiator,
the fan, fan belt, pully, or thermostat.
Start by flusing the radiator,
and if it still over heta take it to a good mechanic.

1. Electric Fan not working properly. 2 Thermostat sticking. 3. If loose particles in radiator, or a bubble while idling, it will heat. Then when driving more pressure pushes the bubble or trash past the thermostat.
Have the fan, thermostat, radiator check as well as look in your coolant plastic reservoir to see if trash is in there.
As a temp measure, when idling, turn on heater and fan on high.

Yup....what yugie29 said.
There's a thermal switch on the botom of the radiator that is supose to turn the fan on when it gets hot enough. However, it may be faulty, or just have come unplugged.
Electrical faults are difficult to troubleshoot if you aren't familiar with circuitry. Or you don't have the right equipment.
You could spend a lot of time and money replacing parts that MAY not be bad.
It could be as simple as a bad fuse, or bad relay, or bad motor, or bad ground, or bad power distribution, or.......
The fan should come on if you turn on your A\C..
Best of luck

Rack and pinion is going bad/leaking. Had same thing happen on a 2000 Caravan. Hard to steer at low speeds, easier at higher speeds but not quite right. Take to a garage for repairs, preferably a dealer, a little more expensive, but the job will be done right.

Check the thermostat... pull it out and put it in a pot of water.. then bring it to a boil... if it doesn't expand then it needs replacing.
Also, if it overheats turn your heater on full blast... open the windows it you have to... this will temporarily cool the engine down.
