I live in Hong Kong and would love to watch this year's Leonids meteor shower in November. Does anyone know where the best place to view it from, which direction to face, and what time the peak would be locally? And approx. how many meteors to expect per hour?
Many Thanks!

The city's night sky is very much light polluted, you can not see
dim stars with your naked eyes.
Some beaches may be good locations. Some hilltops, and countrysides could be good locations. One thing to watch out for is the safety at night, particularly if you are young boys and girls.
Contact your local observatory and science museum for direction to face.
I remember that we can read the science section of local newspapers for details of meteor shower in the United States.
Look at Leo's constellation direction for meteor shower.

Any meteor bathe is maximum suitable seen from a depressing area with a sparkling sky and little or no Moon up. maximum suitable time of night is after evening. Geminids would seem tremendously much everywhere interior the sky, exceptionally at your variety, so %. a direction the place you have a sparkling view and seem up. assume approximately 20-25 consistent with hour, plus 5-8 meteors consistent with hour no longer linked with the Geminids.
