it's never too old to go trick or treating in my opinion. some people are a certain age, but they act a different age. i'm 13 and going trick or treating. i used to have my doubts and almost didn't go, but i'm glad i changed my mind cuz it's a blast. i plan on doing for a long time.

I stopped at 14 or 15, I can't remember now and the last year I wore a mask cause I was embarrassed. I'll go trick or treating again when I have kids.

If your are older than 12, but still a kid, you better have a costume for trick-or-treating...or people will give you their cheap candy or no candy at all.
I will give the "good stuff" to teenagers if they are polite and it looks as if they actually put some effort to dress up.
They are still "kids" and ought to be able to have fun too. BUT,
Ring my doorbell with a pillow-case for candy and ratty jeans....you will get the junk....or, if my husband answers the door, nothing at all.

You are never too old to trick or treat. You need all that sugar! No really ,you can't live with out those itty bitty candy bars. All those poor poor little candy bars need a good home and some one out there has to take them in.

There is no age limit for those that do it, only those observing others. Some peoples minds never age while others do. You will see people saying "she is to old to be wearing clothes like that" or "he is to old to be be doing those types of things". This is a sign that their soul has died & their body is just waiting its turn. All they have left is to judge other people with life left in them cuz they are green with envy.

You're NEVER too old - It's especially fun if you have kids of your own! I'm not gonna be one of those parents that stands back on the sidewalk. I'll be at the door in costume with my hand in the bowl too!

I still went trick or treating in my teenage years. When I think back on it, it wasn't cool at all.

personally when i have the kids that are taller than me knock on my door, i tell them that i only have candy for the little ones. I think that the worst thing that ever happened was a bit of toilet paper to clean out of the shrubs in the morning.. and that is what MY teenagers are for!
