Who cares if you are homosexual?? I don't, but then that could be because I am.
No, homosexuality is caused by genes; and animals are homosexual too, so that must mean it is natural.

I'm not lesbian either but, I do know that I have no recollection of making a decision to be straight. There was a time in my life when I wanted to switch. It really didn't work for me sexually. I'm straight.
My personal belief is that the answer could lie in the biological make up as well as our socialization. One thing I do know, being gay is not a sin, or a glitch or a defect in the brain any more than being left handed or right handed. I used to think it was strictly biological however, the more I've studied and read the more I've come to believe that our social constructs play a huge part in our "straightness" at least. Given different circumstances I believe I could been socialized gay. I don't think that is true for everybody. We're all just different.

Most people that have homosexual experiences are not necessarily homosexual. For the most part, most people that try homosexuality do not stay that way, and get married to opposite sex and have children. For the most part, men become homosexual have a stronger sex drive than women. As for women homosexuals, it is a fear of the penis. If 10% of the population is homosexual, then it is not normal.

Well, there was a recent study that showed real differences between gays & straights in their responses to male & female pheremones.
There's also an increased chance of a male being gay if he has several older brothers. IIRC, they found the same effect whether the young brother was raised with the others or not.
In light of those results I'd say in all likelihood there is some kind of physiological factor. Whether it's in the central nervous system or in scent receptors, or somewhere in between, and whether it's genetic or caused by conditions in the womb, I don't know.

The only thing known with certainty is that sexual orientation is not an intellectual choice. You like boys, girls, or both.
Most likely there are multiple reasons with most involving a combination of things including genetics, physiology, biology, and hormonal influences in the womb.
I believe that the human sexuality norm is some degree of bi-sexual with complete heterosexuality or homosexuality rounding out the spectrum and occuring with less frequency. It's what makes the most sense based on my life experience.

No, it's by choice not by a glitch in the brain. To the answer of kyles, I agree with everything you say except for the part where you say they shall burn in hell for eternity, that is a little too much. There is only one way to get to heaven, and that is if you believe in God. So it doesn't matter if someone chose an alternate lifestyle or if someone committed alot of sins, if they believe in God, then they will go to heaven.

Well, I've heard that the only perversion of sex is not having it. That's a quote but I forget who said it.

some believe that it is a psychological problem that leads to homosexuality. I believe that it is a learned behaviour. Most gay people I know were molested as children.
