There are some choices at Wendy's that have fewer calories and lower fat -- but that doesn't mean everything is healthier! I would like to sneak in some night and steal the salt shakers from all of them -- it isn't the salt that you add on after things are cooked, it's the salt they pour on in the kitchen. And they all do it. Just start reading some of the labels and you'll find in the course of a day you're ingesting at least three times as much salt as you need -- and that's without ever adding salt at the table.

I don't believe any "fast food restaurant" is more healthier than another. It is the choice of foods you eat that make the difference. Low grade food is never healthy. Be it low grade chicken or low grade beef. To me the only hamburgers I've ever eaten out that taste like it is real beef is In N Out Burger and Nations Burger. Other than that I'm not sure what these other fast food places use as beef. As for the chicken, every time I order the chicken I can't help but think of cancerous chickens. I just know they are using the worst of the worst meat they can buy. How else can they afford to sell it so cheap. Makes me sick. I rarely eat out at these places. Try to eat before I leave home. USDA grade meat is questionable.

Yes. Wendy's never freezes beef. It is always fresh. They also have more healthier choices than most fast food restraunts. They also have really good prices. Unlike most places Wendy's has less fat. They have very few unhealthy foods. But those foods r still not bad. Go to Wendy's for better food and pricing.

Well, if you are compering the same menu items (e.g. the fries) i would probably think they are on the same boat. However, due to the health conscious trend, I would say Wendy's is one of the fast food restaurant that take this matter first and seriously. They have variety type of salad, and launched new sandwhiches menu that is lower both in fat and calories to cater this need. So yeah if you look at it that way, they are 'healtier'. But in general, Wendy's is pretty much the same as the rest.

I don't know about calories, but they do have fresher meat, I call it "real" meat, and they don't cook it in advance either. I think the ingredients at Wendy's are fresher, and made fresher as well. So I imagine it probably is healthier. I have worked at several fast food restuarants as a teenager (so glad I am not ever going to again) and Wendy's really did have the best food, highest quality standards in my opinion.

I think there are other places that are a lot healthier than Wendy's. I think Taco Bell and Arby's are overall healthier than Wendy's, and my favorite, El Pollo Loco which is in So Calfornia.

I would just stick to cooking at home and if you have to pack a lunch bag of the left overs for the next day. All of the fast food places are very unhealthy, they do not give you a choice of fruits & veggies, most will give you fries, tots, onion rings, potato, ect............. you need greens, carrots, broccoli, corn, green beans, brussel sprouts, aspearagus, and what about the fruit? You should always have fruit everyday, even if you have to buy it already prepared it is much healthier that any fast food place will ever be. Go online and get some healthy recipes for fast meals and healthy meals on the go.
