I've been there. It could be from sex. If not, you should notify your doctor. I have had my doctor say that it was not from sex, but then again, I've had others say it was. In the end, I had a healthy baby and this time, my husband and I will not make the same mistake again. ( having deep sex.)

I started bleeding at 13 1/2 weeks, turned out I had placenta previa and wound up on bed rest for several weeks, and then light activity for several months. If your bleeding even if you and baby aren't in distress you should have an ultrasound done to determine the cause of the bleeding, the doctor should be taking a little more initiative with this in my opinion. Everything wound up being fine in my case but I also spent several months lying on the couch not able to do much, had I over exerted myself during this time it may have cause further complications. It sounds like you may have a hemotoma (blood clot) between the placenta and your uterus which could cause bleeding for this long, but if thats the case, you should be on bed rest, I would speak with your dr more about this problem, and if you can't get answers and a plan of care, I would see another dr for a second opinion. Best of luck.

I am not sure about the medical issues with having a weak cervix, however it is normal for a pregnant women to bleed after a vaginal exam or intercourse. If you are worried go back to the doctor. Thats why you pay them. Good luck!!!

The cervix has many blood vessels close to the surface during pregnancy, so if the bleeding happened after sex, it may be due to this. However, any bleeding should be discussed asap with her doctor, or if the doctor is not available, take her to the emergency room.

This happened to me in the beginning of my third pregnancy. It turned out it was because of sex. My cervix was to close to him and he was irritating me- causing me to bleed. We had to take a break for a while until my cervix was further up. It just happened again since my cervix is back on its way down. It might be because of this. She should defiantly go in for a sono just to make sure everything is ok.

I had this happen when i was around 6 months pregnant with my second child. Everything was fine though, the doctor said it was okay. Make sure she stays off of her feet, and try not to let her worry.Tell her everything will be okay, i hope everything works out for you,i'm sure she and the baby will be fine. If she has this happen again she should be seen, don't let the doctor push it off like its nothing cause thats your baby.

Have you been having sex or penetrating her vagina in anyway? That sounds like it might be from the capillaries in her vagina popping from being penetrated. Might wanna call your doctor again.

Definitely go to the DOCTOR...or the ER....It could be a miscarriage----or she could be one of the more unfortunate women who have their cycles during pregnancy....Please go to the doc.

You need to see a doctor immediately. He will most probably advise bed rest and no sex.
