It varies...you could have anywhere between 2 and 4 classes, maybe more or less. It depends on how the classes are scheduled. Some classes are MWF and some are TR so you could pick all of one and only have classes on those days. There will also be labs for science classes and maybe other classes so that counts as another one you have to go to but those are usually only once a week. I currently have 3 classes a day except Thursdays I have 2. It really depends on how the classes are set up, which classes you have to take, and when you choose to take them! Hope that helps!

In college things aren't measured by classes, things are measured by credits.
A basic class (such as English) usually is 2 credits, with other classes counting for other amounts.
A normal load now (in most colleges, where people usually don't graduate in 4 years) is about 12-13 credit hours.
I'd suggest 14-15 if you've got good grades.

That all depends on several factors. Do you work? If so, how many hours and days per week? I have taken 15 credit hours of class per week. I find it less stressful for me to take 2 classes 2 to 3 days a week and then 3 classes the remaining days. However, I did once take all of my classes on Tuesday and Thursday, which meant I was in class ALL DAY. But I had MWF off. It's really up to you.

I was told that you should plan to spend about 3 hours outside of class for every hour in class. So space your classes out 3 on one day and 2 on the other days...m,w,f and tu, th In reality you will not spend that much time in preparation and study but it is a good rule of thumb if you're taking difficult classes. 5 Classes amount to about 15 credit hours and that's a formidable load. Good luck.

For most colleges, you need 120 credit hours to graduate. So, even if you're full time with 12 hours, you won't graduate on time. I think that on MWF you should have 3 classes and TTh you should have 2. :)
