i need to write a magic realism short story like really short like 250-300 words short so i need to see what a story that small even looks like.

i had a magical realism class as a freshman seminar in college last year and it was the greatest class i have ever taken. good luck. the Bucket Rider was my favorite, i cant remember a lot of the short magical realism stories we read... i think one was called "The smallest woman in the world"
the movie Big Fish is supposedly magically realistic. check wikipedia
oh there was another one...like, the Porcelain Doll i think was the name.
i wrote a story (which was actually our final for the class) on saharan animals. i.e. cheetahs, giraffes, etc. and i made it to where i talked about their everyday lifestyle, and gave them swahili names that fit their description/animal, but you didnt know they were animals until the end.

A very good example is Gabrial Garcia Marquez' "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings." You might find that on line, or perhaps in an anthology in your local library. Very well worth the read!
