hand ranking wise yes .most poker games have the same hand ranking. one game such as the 5 card stud is play with not the full deck. in that game a flush is harder to make than a full house therefore the flush beats a full house.

Yes. All poker games (standard games) are played with the same hand rankings. The difference in Omaha is you MUST use TWO cards from your hand and THREE from the board.
Only in games with wild cards are there different hand rankings. You can make five-of-a-kind in a game with wild cards. The rules for this vary. Some people think five Aces beats any hand; others rank five-of-a-kind above straight flushes; some say the Royal Flush still wins. I'd stick to standard games if I were you! Wild cards really 'do your head in'.
