I agree that Circus Circus is kid friendly but it's kind of run down compared to others. It is also a little harder to navigate. It is cheaper on the dining budget though there again you get what you pay for. It is also near some lower priced eating areas. Whenever I've been in there it's been crowded with families and these families seem to keep young children up very very late so the parents can go out wandering around. Children are not allowed in the casino unless you are walking through...keep walking or a security guard will come over and tell you to.
Kids love the amusement type area Circus Circus has on their upper level with the Circus acts and games for kids to play..bring lots of money for them too if you go there.

You can stay at any hotel with children and your best bet is to use the pool if it's available.

Myself I only took the kids along once and vowed never to do it again. We did do the shopping, watching the pirate ships fight at the Treasure Island, seeing the volcano explode one night at the Mirage and watch the rollercoaster on the top of the New York New York building and don't forget the laser show all down freemont street in the original area of Las Vegas and the dolphins at the Mirage? Darn I'm having a senior moment.

I personally don't recommend taking children to Las Vegas - you'll have more fun on your own there. If you like gambling try a cruise and the kids can go to their supervised area for a while and you can go to the casino. I also think if you want to get away going to an all inclusive resort is great as they have lots of kids programs so you have a little free time.

Hope this has helped.

Definitely Circus Circus. I had a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean and the large, nicely decorated bathroom was a plus. I think it was much better than Excalibur. There was much more for the kids to do. From what I understand, they've even done some upgrades to the rooms since my last stay. The rooms I've stayed at Excalibur are a little to gloomy and out-dated for me.

The most kid friendly place in Vegas is by far the Excalibur. It has some themed rooms and they have a fabulous dinner show called the tournament of Kings. All hotels in Vegas are gambling and adult oriented so be aware of that before hand.

Circus Circus, hands down. But I would never bother to bring kids to Las Vegas. They'll just ruin your trip, you'll see. And Circus is pretty rundown and dirty. LEAVE THE KIDS HOME. Vegas is a playground for ADULTS, not KIDS. I'm serious.
