I hope not . And it is not just because I don't do drugs of any kind. It is because if you legalize it it will be just like cigarettes. They will tax it as bad a cigarettes. Insuranace companies will sue the industry that produces it when it causes health problems. Even though people do it by chose and not by force. If you legalize it you get the government involved and in most cases when the govt. is involved it causes problems. I am not sure that I believe in medical marijuana either becuse it give people who are pot heads the excuse to smoke it. Even though they say that Marijauna isn't addictive I have seen more problems in relationship and families who do drugs even though they only do Marijauna then families who do no drugs at all.

If they truly want to get rid of cigarettes, they'll have to legalize it and tax it to make up for the loss. There will probably be some restrictions on growing it, I'm thinking maybe an annual permit. That would bring in some additional tax and let them know who's using in case you want to buy a gun. That's one of the questions now on the firearm forms. There will be smuggling to try to get around the tax because opportunities to grow it are limited in the cities and because some people won't trust the government with the knowledge that they're smoking it.

The public sways left and right like a time clock, but it seems to sway a little farther each time. Yes eventually it will sway far enough to vote this in. The gateway drugs are already legal (nicotine, and alcohol). Besides, how can the government pass up the chance to tax those sales.

Maybe sooner than you think. Did you notice Republicans big social issue this year is gay marriage. This person never thought that would over take drugs. Personally would like to see it legalized, but very highly controlled. What if society said: You didn't take any harmful drugs as youth tobacco would be top on my list alcohol or harder stuff; you didn't commit any crimes, so we will reward you by letting you get license to buy it after you took course on it's negative effects on some people.

It's already legal in many places.
People grow it everywhere, all the time.
But no, mass legalization will always be blocked by Big Tobacco and Booze lobbies.

"why might you want to legalize some thing that could desire to debris you up>?" it quite is a medical actuality that alcohol and tobacco are greater risky than marijuana. So do you think of alcohol and tobacco could be unlawful too? additionally, notwithstanding if it may desire to "mess you up", i do no longer think of people could be legally penalized for doing undesirable issues to themselves. Smoking marijuana is a victimless crime. Edit: on your further info, i do no longer smoke or drink the two. yet enable me make sparkling, are you asserting alcohol and tobacco could be unlawful? if so, i think of extraordinarily lots each physique might agree which you have have been given lost all credibility. If no longer, why do you think of marijuana could be unlawful, on condition that it is way less risky than alcohol and tobacco? Edit: you're perfect, it quite is undesirable that individuals do risky issues to themselves, yet you may enable people be responsible for themselves. it may be effective if no one might do something to injury themselves, yet that may not ensue, notwithstanding if the risky components are made unlawful. in simple terms given which you do in comparison to while people injury themselves with alcohol or tobacco or marijuana does no longer recommend that individuals who choose for to accomplish that could be seen criminals.
