How attractive is a nose piercing?

From what I' ve seen of people around me, it defers.

Some people look fabulous with a stud, and others don't like it one bit. Also, how you look really depends on how you look... some can pull it off, others can't.

Look at some people in your community and see whether they look nice with it. If you think so, then get a piercing. If not, don't.

However, if you get one, and then don't like it....don't worry! just remove the stud and the hole will close up!

Well a neat little stud on the side of the nose can look cute but my friend had her nose pierced and it got an infection in it - it took about a year to heal properly and now shes got a very thick scar on the side of her nose - sometimes it looks like a very large blackhead and other times it looks almost like a wart. Plus she quite often gets a scab on the inside of her nose - after seeing what she went through I would never have it done!

If it's a little shiny stud thingy it's fine, if you have it on the leftside. I've heard lots of people say that the right side is gay, but w/e. But, rings and junk are terrible. The proper placed rhinestone stud can have a nice effect, matches everything and doesn't look to bad. I wouldn't want a nose piercing, but if I really did or had to thats the way I would go!

I think it is entirely based on the attractiveness of the nose that it is piercing; And the body connected to said nose.

I pierced mine back in 1981 aged 15, much to my mums horror! I pierced it because it wasn't the 'in thing' to do. I was (still am) a punk and it shocked people which I thought was great. Nowadays it's as normal as pierceing your ears and the fact that you are asking how attractive if is says it all. It was never meant to be attractive and now it means nothing.

I don't understand how some people can stand having the middle part of their nose pierced,but i think nose piercing only looks attractive if you have the correct overall style,hair,necklace etc.you have to look at the overall picture dear

do you mean nose or the middle part of the nostrils, but both i don't like or find attractive . that's funny cause i had a dream last night that i had my nose pierced and i was like when did that happened.... years ago i tried piercing it myself, it hurted so much, so i went to get it done. i can tell you it's the worst pain i felt. i have pierced my lip, and ears myself. i also have my ears stretched and some tattoos and i'm scared of the first seconds when the nose gets pierced. but i personally don't like it.

I've had my nose pierced for years now and I have small little sparkly stud (which does not look like a booger!), I have had nothing but compliments about it. Personally, I think that every-ones individuality should be respected and if that means putting holes in yourself - then go for it but do it safely and with an informed mind!

On the right face it looks so cute and adds character but i don't think they suit everyone and a tiny tiny stud is essential so it doesn't take over your face, personally i think they look best on small dainty noses. I've got my nose pierced but i hardly ever wear anything but it's there for something different when i feel like it, most guys say it looks cute but i don't like to look too 'hipyish', it doesn't suit me!
