i think america has created the taliban (osama bin laden) during the cold war with Rassia.America has also created saddam during iran-iraq war. america is also the best friend of the most human right violators(saudi arabia)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This country has been turned by two of the most powerful and civilised nations on Earth into the most hellish place on Earth. Armies claiming to bring democracy and prosperity have brought bloodshed and a misery worse than under the most ruthless modern dictator. This must be the stupidest paradox in modern history. Neither America nor Britain has the guts to rule Iraq properly, yet they lack the guts to leave.Blair speaks of staying until the job is finished. What job? Saudi Arabia is the home of Wahabism the most radical form of Islam in the world and breeding ground of terrorists and the US and Saudi Arabia do almost nothing about it. Terrorist go to Saudi Arabia to Wahabi to learn the philosophy of terrorism and then go get on the job training in Iraq. Wahabism is worse than the Taliban and they are left virtually alone to do what they want in full view of the Saudi Govt.

Looks like you have been doing some homework. The truth is often hard to find, but if you look hard enough, it's there. You sometimes have to go to the dusty old back shelves at universities to find older books where the truth had yet to be rewritten.

There is no easy answer to that.
It depends on one hand on geopolitics at crucial times and places and on the other on what to be gained at the expense of others. (even if it means atrocities as a result). No one is truly black or white... In politics, grey is the color of choice.
