Unless you can do something within walking distance, I'd wait till you're 16 cause when you can drive it gives you many more oppurtunities.

Well if your that anxious to start working right now you will probably just have to do odd jobs around your neighborhood area. Maybe your parents have friends that need some extra help around there house or you could even make some flyer's advertising your services. Now that summer is over there aren't quite as many outdoor jobs that you can do. Here are a few suggestions for you, indoor painting, taking care of someones pets, tutoring students if your a good student yourself, babysitting (more of a girl job I know, but its an idea) and maybe chopping wood. If odd jobs don't sound like what you want to do then just hold out until your 16. Hope this helps you out.

In most states there are a lot of jobs you can do but you probably can't use any kind of hazard equipment (like meat slicers or grills), probably won't be trusted with a lot of money, and probably can't work more than a certain number of hours. Try car washes and other small privately owned businesses. Also, don't hesitate to start your own small business. At 15 1/2 you can mow lawns, babysit, walk dogs, run errands, clean gutters, rake leaves, etc. There are also tons and tons of young people who have started more creative businesses than that. The sky is the limit if you get creative.

Focus on school, you have 30-60 years of your life to go to the daily grind of work. Enjoy yourself while you still can.

Just a tip: Stay out of the food industry. Once you start doing some form of work it is very hard to change direction.. you have to put that experience on your future applications!

COLLEGE.. Seriously 4 yr degree minimum! Because certificates and 2yr degrees are hardly even recognized.. but a 4yr + will get you that nice house.

When I was about 13 yrs. old my first job was selling flowers for Valentine's Day. My trusted neighbors and parents took and picked me up. I enjoyed the job I do ...If your considered do jobs outdoor/indoor such as kitchen helper for the party....
Look into these links...It has suggested positions for 15 and younger who like to odd jobs or own a business. You have six months to look into real jobs like working in McDonalds , library page, kennel attendant , amusement parks .

get your resume together and start to apply
while you are waiting for responses, get yourself out there and clean cars, mow lawns, do garden work, rake leaves, shovel snow, clean gutters, wash windows, paint fences, clean garages, etc etc.
on your resume you can bill yourself as a handy person at the present. You want to present to your prospective employer that you are industrious and determined. That will impress the right employer.

Again, check with your local high school's guidance counselor's office. I worked through high school by getting money, school credits, and experience in retail sales/cashier/stock/inventory that gave me a head start after graduation by already having work experience. It won't hurt to ask.
