Vertical stripes and long jackets will be your best friend. Just not together. There's always high heels, my friend.

Having spent most of my life closer to the ground then most, I have developed a few techniques that surprisingly seem to work, as many are surprised when they find out exactly how tall I am. My first rule is keep my wardrobe simple. I do not wear anything with fancy buttons, bows, or loud patterns. I wear contrasting colors but I make sure the loud color is on top and the dark color is carried uninterrupted to the toes. That usually means matching skirt and tights or stockings that are darker if the skirt is dark and lighter if the skirt is of a lighter color. I avoid belts with really big buckles, but if I do, I wear it a little higher than my waist. I avoid low rise jeans, instead I create the illusion with short tops that graze the hipbones. I don't wear anything too short because it makes me look fat. I find that skirts that graze the knee or are about an inch above the knee make one look taller, even without heels. My long skirts and dresses drag on the floor in stocking feet but are just right with 2 inch heels.
Incidentally, stilettos with short skirts make the legs look shorter. Not sexy for short girls.
If you wear a suit, wear the jacket longish to cover the rear end or to the waist. Wear nylons or very thin tights that do not contrast with the color of the suit.
Hope these hints help.

wear skirts that are to the knee or just below the knee. if u wear a mini, then wear wedges to compensate (they don't have to be sky high tho!) never, never wear a long skirt or a "maxi" skirt that hits mid calf. SUPER UNFLATTERING!

You can wear shorter shorts so that u can show off ur legs. longer shorts tend to make u look short, esp. those bermudas that have somehow become chic again!

to make legs look longer and to give u more height, wear pants/jeans a lil on the longer side...not so that the hem drags on the pavement, tho!

a v-neck top will lengthen u. if u wear a t-neck, then that's bad, bad, bad!

a monochrome color palette will also give the illusion of length (as well as slim u out).

Yeah, white pants, light colored clothing, if you're a girl, where some heels or some nice wedges.
Try to get a nice length pant. Nothing too short, but the exact right length, a bit long to cover the heel.

Well, you should wear

- vertical stripes. They make you look longer by sort of "stretching you".

- don't wear one of those thick belts around your middle or at your hips or anything. They sort of "cut" your body into two, making you look shorter.

- Wear high heels...

- Watch your posture. Stand up straight and carry yourself. Whether you're short, fat, tall or thin, a fab posture is always helps loads

- Choose scarves tied loosely with long, vertical dangling ends.

- Use long necklaces or pendants and avoid chokers.

P.S. I'm assuming you're a woman here!
