Vote for someone who may suffer the same issues you confront. Or for the most likely to loose. I'm sure he or she will feel in debt.

Stop running for office 24/7 and handle the job at hand. Stay in touch with the constituents and real life and get over the beltway glitz. We Americans are not just numbers on a piece of census paper. We are real and need competent leaders. During this political turmoil, I cannot help but think of Ben Franklin's answer on what kind of government they had drafted. His answer was "A democracy, you d*@n fools, if you can keep it!" I hope we can.

This has been the most unresponsive congress ever, and they've been on more vacations than any in American History.

The only way to get them off their nap beds, it to vote the lazy bums out of office.

The White House needs a thorough cleaning.

It is smelling quite strongly of sulpher.

The only way to encourage congress to be more responisve and responsible is to use your vote...many people complain about their representatives but dont take the action to change it. Either you just dont vote or you vote for someone purely because you recognize their name....the information is out there to truly understand the canidates, but ultimately the responsibility lays in the hands of the voters.

Invoke term limits like most of the States are doing to make it harder for congressmen to continue to "serve" for life. Personally, I would love to limit it to 12 years at State and local combined and 12 years at the Federal level max. That is the biggest down fall of our great Nation is that we allow the few to have life membership into controlling our Country.

they cant under our current system. democracy was designed to govern a smaller amount of people. with the large amounts of people that make up our country or even states that would be like one person to make a decision for ten-thousand people. I know it sucks but we have to make do. remember the louder person is always heard over the crowd
