The song title is Rock and Roll Part 2. It is by Gary Glitter and is about 2:57 long. I have a CD called Stadium Jams. I love that song.

You're probably thinking of the song they play in stadiums a lot. It's "Rock and Roll, part 2" by Gary Glitter.
Many arenas won't play it anymore because Glitter was recently convicted of child porn charges in England (1999) and child sexual abuse in Vietnam (2005). He is in a Vietnamese jail now.
