Becuase God said so. Becuase Procreation is meant to be for marriage. This strengthens relationships, it bonds two people if they are the ONLY two who they have shared it with. It brings respect, security and oneness to the relationship if you have only been with your spouse. It prevents disease, abortion, pregnancy for unwed mothers, prevents poverty in many ways, prevents welfare, builds confident children, I could go on.......

Now do you see the reasons why?? If people just kept that ONE commandment. Think of how this world would be a better place!!

I kept it and I am glad I did. I have self respect and confidence and above all, I can meet our Father in Heaven one day and hold my head high and say I was not part of the problem in our nation , rather I was what helped keep morality alive.

I think you should wait. And that's what the bible says to do.Marriage and sex is both special moments in life. And if you lose your virginity to someone besides who you marry than that loving bond of the joining of two isn't as special anymore. You can't get your virginity back.So when someone has sex they should make sure it's with the one that they want to spend those moments with the most.

I believe so, most people may think having "sexual experiences" before marriage, would be the better benefit..But at the same time, half of those people regret it, due to catching diseases or just hoping it would be more special, also teen-age pregnancies that are just increasing by the year. Sex is something special and should be shared between and man and woman, who are truly devoted to eachother.

YES. Wait...........not my words, but God's. You won't regret waiting.

Of course passion is strong, and it can be tough to wait. But...........lust doesn't last.. True love does.

Sex is not totally proof of love----especially with a man......it's passion and lust and many times just using a person for sexual gratification..

Would you want your husband or wife to have sex with many partners before you marry? It will stay in your minds and they could also give you a sexual disease.

I think if both people are committed to each other, in love, and in a monogamous relationship, as long as both partners want to have sex, its OK not to wait! But if one or both people want to wait or are not sure about the other person, then be sure about them first, if they want to wait until marriage that's their decision of course!

I personally did not wait, I still dont think that was a bad decision, but I dont think people should sleep around with just anyone either!!

Well, as long as the man and woman plan on being super freaks after they get married, it will make the sex alot better. But if one of them is going to be like " I don't want to do it like that " then basically they just screwed themselves.

In a perfect world yes, that is the way it's supposed to be, but that's not how it happens. I was raised this way, but I did not live up to my parents expectations and felt very guilty after I did it.

The problem with having more then one partner "testing the waters" as someone said is you run the risk of disease and or pregnancy then if both partners are virgins then there isn't an issue.

Boy, my fellow Christians are going to hammer me on this one. I have a family member who married, and his wife said she thinks sex is yechy! I've found porn magazines hiding in his house, and since he is a devout Christian too, so he will never have an affair. She (his wife) thinks sex is for having children only. Now you tell me. If he would have messed around before the wedding and she told him that, do you think he would have married her? Hope so or I would have never been born!

Yes 90% of sexually active people have some kind of STD or another. Most of that is HPV or herpes. You can have those without even knowing it. The percent that doesn't have it is because they are new at it, (new meat). Join that club ig you want to get your pickle washed before marriage.

There was a time the answer would have been yes. But now I say no...BUT...you should wait and have sex when it us with someone who you have had a lasting relationship with. It should mean something and be special. Don't have sex with just anyone or feel pressured to have sex if you don't want to. Trust me. The guy who wants to get married, usually won't marry the girl who was easy.
