anyone here watch house? i can't remember exactly how House ( Hugh Laurie) originally got his limp from?

He was out running and he came into the hospital for treatment. Cutty misdiagnosed and mistreated his case and by the time she was done he had permanent muscular deterioration. He had her put him into a chemical coma to handle a treatment he knew would cure him but would be painful. She wanted to amputate or at least cut away the bad parts. Once he was under his wife and Cutty removed the bad tissue and that left him with the pain and the limp.

I watch that show
and if i remember correctly, i think House was going to get his leg amputated, but he didn't want that, so now he has a lifelong limp and pain since he still has the leg and the leg still has some problems every now and then.

Got the limp from an infection and Stacey (ex-girlfriend) made the choice to remove the infected muscle to save his life, but leave him in pain.

Have watched House a few times. Do not why he has the limp...and for that matter...I am not even close to figuring out why anyone would be named "House".

I dont know either...but I love the show. There was an episode with a flashback where he was in the hospital and they wanted to amputate but he wouldnt let them. In the end they cut out some tissue...dont remember exactly how it happened though.

I love it. He got that limp in an accident ans they had to take some bones out.

I think he got it from a show called BlackAdder. Its a comedy in UK watch it and see him in a totally different light. Obviously a very talented actor.
