It depends on your state. In most states, partial ballots are legal. But, in some, they are considered spoiled ballots and can be disregarded. You should check with your state's Department of State for more clarification and the particular rules for your state. You can also contact your county's Board of Elections for assistance.

Hope that helps.

If you didn't vote for Gore than your ballot is null and void so the Democrats will finish voting for you. In reality, you can vote for what or whom you want. Lets say that you do not want to vote for your Senator because everyone that is running is incompetent so you just want to vote for the local ones and for the major issues that deal directly with you. When they read the ballot, it will record no votes for the issues that you avoided and record the votes that you did cast. Now, I think that some people (liberals) want to make it so that you have to vote for them only and for all issues.

Only the items or people you voted for count.

If you use those phony voting machines, the ballot will definitely be incomplete and altered and illegal. Whomever you picked will be voided. (Unless they are RepUGLYcans)

Each item you vote on counts...its only null and void if you destroy it in some way...

Your ballot is still valid. You can leave the whole thing blank but one and it is still valid.
