Yes I read it like 3 years ago or so...I loved that book....actually all her books are great!!

Gosh, that was so very long ago that I read that but it sure left an impact on me. Seems that racism, ignorance and drugs can ruin so many things in life. It was sad to see the potential destroyed in that one kids life. It was a very sad story.
