I have to agree with an answer that was given already. Tamora Pierce is a wonderful author. You would probably enjoy her stories. They are fantasy. The best series is the Song of the Lioness series (starts with Alanna). Also, you may want to look into the Once Upon a Time series. There are several authors that contribute to it. I love the books by Cameron Dokey but the others are good too. They are re-tellings of faerie tales. Look up Golden, Snow and Midnight Pearls. Those are all fabulous. Cate Tiernan has two different series (Sweep and Balefire) but are about witchcraft. Libba Bray sort of reminds me of her. Julie Ann Peters is another wonderful author. Her words are sort of lyrical but are about subjects that many find difficult (such as lesbianism and transgender). Lauren Myracle is also really good. Hope I helped!

Anything by Tamora Pierce is really good, and might be considered similar to Libba Bray. Also maybe Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith. If you're looking for things in the victorian england time period like Libba Bray try the Sally Lockhart trilogy by Phillip Pullman and also The Tin Princess, which has characters from the Sally Lockhart trilogy.
