True.

When we look back we usually think we were very good.
But usually we also think "why we gave ourselves such a bad time ?" It is so true for so many people. I think it is so often that we don't realize what we have and what we are in present. We either think of glorious past and a sort of repent or we dream about a glorious future and worry.

The art of appreciating what we are and what we have today is something which everyone needs to learn. The art of truly realizing our value and appreciate what we are and what we have today itself. Have gratitude for that to the Ultimate.
And not to dwelve so often in the past or dream and worry about future. The art of living with appreciating what we are today and also doing all the necessary and required tasks on our hand to the best way we can is a true wisdom on life. If one puts an effort one can learn this very slowly. Only will and efforts are required. This is not an easy task to master. But be slow and gradual on mastering this and you have started walking through the door of happiness. And obstacles will always come today and in future. Do not get disheartened by them. Deal with them and then do not worry how good or bad you did in handling them.

Just forgive (yourself too) and forget and enter the door towards happiness ! One who loves oneself this way can also truly love another genuine person.

The hard time is what we feel about it. There have been persons who passed through even worse, yet cheerfully. It is the attitude towards life that makes the difference.
