When John made that remark; he made it flippantly! He was simply responding to what he thought as insanity! He was making a flippant comparison! He didn't mean anything by it! He was very young...you must remember that! He later apologized! By the way...You need to learn to read, spell and type English! Thank-you....

Titanic, yes.
Lennon and Ali, no. These comments did make them controversial, but did not cause their downfall. Ali truly was the greatest fighter around at the time, and the Beatles were (chagrin) more popular than Christ at that time.
And really, neither of these two actually HAD a 'downfall,' as such. Lennon was shot decades after these comments, and Ali retired as 'The Greatest.' Parkinson's Disease brought on by too many punches blocked with his head have caused him some serious difficulty, but he is still The Man.

I know this is a rhetorical question yet I will still answer.
The Titanic was sunk by the carelessness and ego of men.
John Lennon was killed by someone who is mentally ill. To think that God did such a thing to someone that only promotes peace is ludicrous.
Ali has had an amazing life. You can't stay a boxer forever and even the best will eventually lose. He won the championship back three times, doesn't sound like a cursed career to me.
He also has a new career as a spokesman for peace, something far more rewarding than boxing. I doubt Jesus would hurt such an amazing competitor as Ali.

No. The Beatles pretty much came to a downfall because of egos and creative differences also the music business pretty much moved on.
Ali just got older and you can't stay a boxer forever.
As for the Titanic, the Titanic sank because of poor routing and poor technology at the time. These are natural occurences and have nothing to do with vengeful gods or karma or any other superstitious nonsense.

If you're speaking of Karma, i'd say that you can say any event in history is blamed on something that a person says, its totally ludicrous and lacks any sense of logic. Cave men resorted to the supernatural to explain the unknown, modern man can rationalize his existence. But alas, obsolete genes do not die overnight, therefore, you'll be seeing people looking to Karma and god for explanations of the unknown.
