Yes, it should be helpful to you to seek talk therapy to gain insight into your anger. The beneficial thing is that we become persons of greater depth when we explore and resolve our problems. Anxiety and depression can be disguised by anger or it might be something you need to learn that you unconsciously are warding off through the defense of anger. This is common. I wish you well!

When you're angry, it usually feels like your anger is justified, and when you're angry all the time, it feels like you're justified in being angry all the time. The problem is that anger is self-destructive if you feel angry all the time... it has physicial effects on you along with the psychological and emotional effects. And anything that has long-term bad health effects isn't justifiable, even if it feels like it should be. There are better alternatives.

It wouldn't hurt to see a counselor... if it doesn't work out in seeing one, you lose nothing except a little time and money.

There must be something causing this. Go see a doctor at once. Sometimes extreme anger is a symptom of a tumor. Not to scare you, but it would be better to get it checked out.

You may want to see your family doctor. There are medical conditions that can induce anger and agitation. Give yourself a break and have this checked out. You don't deserve to suffer from the stress. Best of luck to you!

What happened to start this? Did someone hurt you that you can't talk about? I understand your anger. I was a sad kid then I was and angry kid. It happened after my brother died. I found I was mad at him for dying.
