You can do it yourself.
Go to ,, ,, , , That will take you to a page where you can set minimum and maximum levels. You can also allocat space across multiple hard drives if you need to.

Before you do this, make sure you've defragged your hard drive, and that you have enough space available for the virtual memory you are requesting.

The minimum is the smallest size that the file will be, and maximum is the largest amount you will allow.

Minimum should be at least 1.5* what you have for physical memory. The maximum should depend on how much you are likely to use, plus some headway. Maybe 2-3 times physical memory.

Hope this helps,

Yes, you can do it yourself; BUT, windows does a good job when it is loaded. Unless you have special reasons, I would leave it alone.

You should READ your owners manual or use "help" if you insist on changing it. NOTE: BEFORE changing, note the minimum set by windows. It should never be LESS than that minimum.

I reset mine; BUT I have 6 partitions on 2 drives which total over 600Gb. I moved it from the C: drive to my H: drive due to the partition size advantage (3Gb compared to 200Gb); but, like I said, I had a good reason to move it!! (I also reset all my "temp" files to the H: drive for the same reason.)
