The GPA is important and especially your science grades for it. A strong mathematics background helps. Volunteer work can help too such as volunteering at a nursing home or hospital. Extra curricular activities such as clubs and sports are important, too. Rigorous course make a great impression such as Advanced Placement (AP) or honors. I have included some links to various programs, so you can get some idea what it entails for undergraduate and medical school.

yeah, i do no longer see why no longer. it is an exceedingly intense GPA, so as long as you maintain it up there is truly no reason you mustn't have the potential to get right into a pre-med application at a school. in basic terms make certain once you're taking the SAT or ACT, score intense on that, and additionally it possibly would not harm to connect some extracurricular activities while you're no longer in some already via fact that faculties would be watching those issues too.

Congrats on your excellent GPA. You have a great chance of getting into pre-med. Just keep the grades up, and make sure you do a couple of extracurricular activities (maybe volunteer at a hospital?) to set yourself apart from the rest.

The field of medicine is really rough. It is one of the highest demanding fields and yet getting into the programs is very limited. Getting A's in your science classes helps tremendously. Getting A's in your other classes is also a good thing. Create good study habits. Do service hours at local hospitals or old folks homes. Anything helps, extracurricular helps, just stick to your goal.
