Ive been having this dream about this guy i have feelings going against his values and having sex with a girl we hardly know and in real life he would never do this

That is conflict feeling of yours. Basically, you have this desire about this guy, but deep down subconsciously you do not want to go out with him. So, you projected him to be a bad guy, going against his values and having sex with another girl. That implies a little trust from you to him or to your own self.
Your desire seems to be conflicting. On one hand, you want something, on the other hand, you do not really want it. Dreaming of a guy like that is a good example of how you are conflicting your feeling. This comes out from your subconscious mind. Perhaps, you have to think it over about this guy you have feelings with.

It sounds as though you had an anxiety dream. Is there some quality in this other girl that you wish you had and that you feel might be appealing to your male friend? Do you know if he reciprocates your feelings?

means that altough you tell him or yourself that you trust him....deep inside you don't (that's what going against his values and doing things you wouldn't think he would do). The fear of finding out that he is not who you thought he was.

It sounds like you have feelings for him and are jealous of this other girl, because maybe he has feelings for her.
