Will any of you be as so kind as to provide any source of information taht will allow me to scream without damaging my vocal chords?

I know it's pretty lame, but I'd like to give it a shot sometime and I think the weekend would be a nice shot.

Any help is appreciated. :)

why are you concerned about damaging your vocal chords? Are you a voice musician? Anyways, you have to round your lips , but it isn't gonna sound like a scream I'll tell you that!

I'm pretty sure that screaming on a regular basis WOULD eventually damage your vocal chords .. even classical singers would damage their voice if they strain it. I'm thinking that maybe taking some voice lessons and practising scales or something would strengthen your voice, and that doing a warm up of these voice exercises before you go out and scream? Or maybe it's something like making a high falsetto and perhaps thats less of a strain. I don't really know. I'm half asleep and I'm just saying what comes into my mind. But then, most people don't know what they're saying here so I guess it's okay. By the way, what is emo music??
