Try hanging bars of soap on your bushes & trees. I read that Irish Spring is particularly good for that. I guess you could wrap them in old nylon stockings or drill a hole through the soap.
Good luck!

Got a dog? Have Poochy do his business on the perimiter of the garden for the rest of the growing season...deer and dogs generally don't mix. Not an absolute guarantee, because if deer are hungry enough they will ignore anything but its a cheap, environmentally friendly way. Otherwise it's ten foot fences or a chewed garden.

The only sure way to keep deer out of your garden is to put up a fence that is too tall for them to jump over or put up an electric fence. Soap and human hair is only good for short periods of time and have to be replaced fairly regularly.

You just have to sprinkle the hair from you hairbrush around and they won't come around. They will smell it and stay away.
