You need to call the pediatrician right away and ask. They don't care what time you call. Call the office and you will get an answering service. He/she will tell you what to do.

I would consider taking her to the er. She is very young and this is not a good time for her to be getting sick when most of her organs are still developing. You have nothing to lose if you take her and a lot to gain if you take her to the er. If you wait until morning, symptoms may get worse. If I were in your shoes, I would take her to the er, it may cost some money, but it will save you so much more in the long run

If your baby is sick get off the computer. Call your local Pediatriac hospital and talk with a nurse on call. They can direct you as to what is best. The people on Yahoo Answers cannot give you this information based on your short description. You will need to tell the nurse how she has been eating, and what she eats, if she is running a fever, if she is immunized and when, when she last saw a doctor, if she has had any problems since birth, if there were any problems with your pregnancy... You need the opinion of a medical professional. If you cannot reach a nurse at a hospital, call your doctor and talk with him/her. They should be the ones to direct you.

If you have called the pediatrician and gotten no response, I would take her to the er. What could it hurt? You might have to wait a few hours and be sent home? At least you would know that she was OK. And if something is seriously wrong, she will get help. Better to be safe than sorry and I think mother's have really good instincts to know when something is really wrong. Good luck!

The same thing happened with my baby at 7 wks. is the mucous like milky? is she congested? If she has a cold they wont give her anything but if she has a temp of 100.4 They will run tests to check for a virus. You should take her in and if you cant do that call the hospital and speak with a nurse.

I would check her temperature. If she has a high fever, I'd take her to the ER. Also, is she eating enough to have wet diapers? You want to make sure she's not dehydrated

I would take her to the ER asap. You can never tell with a one so young. Also, they get dehydrated so easily. Definetly take her to the ER, if for no other reason than your peace of mind in knowing that your child is okay. Good Luck!

Call her doctor, if you cant get ahold of him/her, then call the hospital and ask to speak with whatever pediatrician is on call. They will then call that doc and have them call you ASAP, no matter what time of day or night. You can then talk to the doc personally about it and they can help you decide if your child needs to come in immediately or not. I've had to do this a couple of times for our daughter. Good luck, and I hope your baby girl is ok.

I'd at least call her dr's after hours number. Sounds like she's got a lot of mucus built up in there and you've gotta get it out real soon. Or else it's stmach acid that looks like mucus- in which case she'd better get in asap. Either way she's runing a risk of dehdration.

You shouldn't even be taking the time to ask this. You obviously know something is wrong or you wouldn't be asking. Take your child to the nearest ER now! Good luck
