Hey guys, I'm looking at maybe buying a Mercedes-Mclaren SLR this weekend, great looking car, I've test drove it and everything, Sliver, with red leather interior, 617 Horsepower, just a great car. But it's $444,000. I want it, but I wanna make sure of that before I make the wire transfer. I was also looking at a Aston Martin Vanquish, which is about $300,000 cheaper. I dont know, the SLR just makes a statement. What do ya'll think?

If you can afford it: I'd forget those cars and pic one of the best super cars there is. The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. Built by the company owned by Steve Saleen, who is known for his powerful Mustangs. The car is 750 horsepower. 0-60 2.8 seconds. Top Speed: 248 mph. It is has a higher price tag but if I had the money it would be my first super car. Its the fastest American made super car built. It has a price tag some where around $550,000. I'd think about the possibilitys before jumping into the Mercedes SLR Mclaren. The Saleen will burn anything on the road at any speed. Happy Hunting.

The Ferrari F430 is nice, I think it was rated as the best supercar on Top Gear... the Ford GT is a great supercar, too. I would personally get the Tesla Roadster from Tesla Motors. It's electric and goes 0-60 in 4 seconds... and it's only $180k. http://www.teslamotors.com/index.php?js_enabled=1

Try a Porsche. There are websites that shows performance & price of supercars. Take a look at it and decide but the first thing you should do is to see if you look good in it and if you really like the way it looks. You will be the one driving it and if you get something other than the one's you like chances are you won't enjoy it. Buying a supercar is a luxury and you should have fun liking it. Enjoy it.
