Within your field of education and experience, build a network by attending everyone else's events. Start a lot of conversations at these events, collect a lot of business cards and find out what they need. Then fill the need!

Are you qualified in anything?
Have you a skill?
Can you effectively share your knowledge?
try looking around at schools for their nightclass programs. see the skill you have not represented, go and see them. if you can offer a skill that people will want, you may have a job. from there you will have the experience to get bigger and bigger.
